The Morocco Oil & Gas 2014 Summit will take place in Marrakech from 7th to 8th of May 2014 to discuss the onshore & offshore oil capacities of the North African nation and the new oil and gas governmental strategy.
It is the first time that such a platform has been dedicated entirely to Morocco to highlight the country’s untapped potential and reinforce its image of an emerging hydrocarbon market.
Morocco’s oil and gas reserves remain relatively underexplored. The country is situated close to other important oil and gas producing countries such as Algeria, Libya and Egypt.
The free trade agreements and recent seismic data studies combined with the geostrategic location in the crossroads of Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, make Morocco as the new investment hub for oil and gas.
